  1. Exhibit: Oil Paintings by Elena Vaisberg-Targulian

    Elena Vaisberg-Targulian is exhibiting her vibrant oil paintings in the Main Library Gallery. Elena’s work is a mix of what she feels, sees and imagines which she then translates into color and form. She uses and her intuition and some fantasy to bring her paintings to life. Her imaginative, lively work will be exhibited in the First Floor Art Gallery of the Library from September 10 through October 22, 2014.

  2. Exhibit: 3D Printing by Ginger Kong

    Have you ever wondered about 3D printing? Discover how a local designer, Ginger Kong, uses 3D printing technology to turn ideas into physical objects. Her exhibit, Design Fabrication: 3D Printing and Artwork, features everything from character models to product design. Her work will be on display in the 2nd Floor Display Case at the Main Library from September 24 through November 5, 2014.

  3. Architecture Lecture: EHDD & John King

    The reknowned EHDD firm’s Founding Principals in conversation with John King, San Francisco Chronicle’s Architecture and Urban Design Critic.     Ray Coca, a three-time Colorado State wrestling champion and college All-American chronicles his amazing story of representing the United States on the first international high school wrestling exchange program with Japan in his book, "Elite U.S. Dream Team: A Wrestling Story." Coca overcame extreme poverty, discrimination and tragedy as a child, but through it all, learned what it means to be a champion. Author will sign books at the event.
