The 90,000 sq. ft. public library is a landmark three-story building with two levels of underground parking.

Sustainable Public Education Program
The Library's ongoing Sustainable Public Education Program informs the community on how they can help reduce the City’s carbon footprint at home, at work, at school and in their community.  Sustainability presentations, workshops and exhibits for adults, children and businesses are offered in collaboration with local subject-matter experts.

This earth-friendly information area offers helpful tips and practices visitors can implement in their homes, schools, businesses or in our community to save the earth.

Grab one of the many flyers and brochures that offer a wide variety of tips on how you can help make your home greener.  Or take a look at a small scale model of the Main Library and view a diagram on how energy efficient the building is.
