The City Clerk’s Office supports the City's goal of public transparency. We manage City elections, City Council meetings, and, provide you access to the City’s public records and archives. We also oversee the City’s Boards and Commissions. Contact our office to arrange any ceremonial or official functions involving the Mayor or Council Members. The San Mateo City Clerk is appointed by the City Manager.
